Classic Fabrication, Body Repair & Coach Building

Classic Fabrication,
Body Repair &
Coach Building

We employ some of the best metal shaping, fabricating and painter specialists in Canada. With years of experience and dedication to their craft, our fabrication and sheet metal department is second to none. The team strives to build our body panels to manufacturers specifications, using old-world techniques, tools, and processes. There are no shortcuts and there are no copies. Every panel is made with the expertise and experience of our team.

Whenever possible, Coachwerks adheres to a complete repair policy, meaning we do not install patch panels but instead replace the entire panel and install it to factory specifications. This leaves it indistinguishable from the original, even in bare metal. If unique or bespoke best describes your wish list, Coachwerks is also able to build completely custom bodywork that would rival original factory offerings.

With over 45 years of experience in our upholstery department, we are experts in fabric and leather repair. Coachwerks sources the exact materials that were used when your car was new to recreate the genuine look and feel of your vehicle’s interior. Our team researches every detail of the vehicle’s cabin space, from the grain of the leather to the weave of the fabric, in order to produce quality interiors that are authentic and classic. Only authentic upholstery materials guarantee that even hidden components of the car perform to original specifications, feel and touch.

Dry Ice Cleaning

Dry Ice Cleaning

Dry ice is a cross between sandblasting and pressure washing, but more efficient. Tiny 3mm pellets of dry ice are forced via compressed air through a very tiny opening at high velocity to create an effective technique to clean your vehicle, and it evaporates on contact. Dry ice is extremely efficient at removing dirt, corrosion, and even grease from undercarriages and engine bays without removing paint and other finishes. After Dry Ice Cleaning, vehicles appear to have just rolled off the assembly line.

Vapour Blasting

Vapour Blasting

Vapour blasting is a modern treatment for cast alloys and other nonferrous metals. The process involves removing corrosion, leaving the surface looking brand new. During the process, tiny ceramic beads are forced through a small opening via compressed air and water at high velocity. This creates a virtual stream of microscopic particulate that delicately polishes the surface to refurbish and seal the material leaving a corrosion-resistant finish.

Ultra-Sonic Cleaning

Ultra-Sonic Cleaning

Ultrasonic systems use a transducer to convert electrical energy into sound waves, which, in a tub of solution, creates cavitation and bubbles that scrub the various automobile parts. Bubbles form and collapse rapidly along the surface, penetrating small crevices and galleys. As the bubbles implode, they pull dirt and particles away from the surface and up to the top of the solution.
